Ten Years, Ten Women: Fon

Before Better Me, Fon carried a habit of negative self-talk, the kind that shows up any time she tried to speak up or take on something new. She lacked confidence in the same way many capable people are, she underestimated herself by default.
Better Me immediately helped her change how she treated herself. Through the program's work on personal development, she began to recognize her own value in ways she'd been ignoring, and to actively practice self-love rather than treat it as an afterthought. She describes becoming happier and more confident as a direct result, not a side effect.

That inner shift came before anything else did. Only once she'd started seeing herself differently did the career change follow, moving from nanny work into a role as a Teaching Assistant. She's careful to describe it in that order: the confidence came first, and the new career was what it made possible.
Today, what she's most proud of is her own determination to keep growing and keep expressing who she actually is, rather than the smaller version of herself she says she used to present to the world.
