Ten Years, Ten Women: Aroon

When Aroon joined Better Me in 2018, she was already working as a housekeeper and carrying the responsibilities of family life. At the time, she often found herself worrying, particularly about challenges concerning her child.

She came to Better Me looking for two simple things: new knowledge and new friends. What she found became something that stayed with her long after the program ended.

One of the most lasting parts of the experience has been English. Years later, it is still something she continues to use. But the change was not only about what she learned in class. Aroon says that after completing the program, she began to feel more relaxed, more comfortable, and more at peace with her life.

Today, what makes her most proud is something deeply practical and deeply important: she can work, earn a good income, and take care of her family.
