Strong Women, Stronger Community: Better Me Connect Inspires Women to Build Lifelong Health

On 28 June 2026, Pratthanadee Foundation organized the 2nd Better Me Connect session of the year, bringing together women for an engaging Strength Training with Resistance Bands for Women workshop. Led by volunteer fitness coach Jackie, the session introduced simple, safe, and effective strength exercises that participants can easily continue practicing at home.
The workshop focused on more than just exercise. Participants learned proper movement techniques, how different exercises strengthen specific muscle groups, and how regular strength training can improve posture, mobility, balance, and overall well-being. Through guided practice using resistance bands, women gained practical knowledge while building confidence in caring for their own health.

The atmosphere was energetic, encouraging, and full of support. Women exercised together, encouraged one another, and enjoyed connecting with new friends in a welcoming environment. For many participants, it was not only an opportunity to improve their physical health but also a chance to relax, reduce stress, and become part of a supportive community.
Participants shared overwhelmingly positive feedback after the workshop:
- Many said they learned simple exercises they can continue practicing at home.
- Participants reported feeling happier, more relaxed, and physically refreshed after the session.
- Several appreciated learning the correct exercise techniques that can help prevent injury.
- Many highlighted the friendly atmosphere, supportive staff, and clear instruction from the coach.
- Several participants expressed their hope that Pratthanadee Foundation will organize similar health and wellness activities more frequently.

Strength training is often overlooked by women, yet it plays an important role in improving long-term health, maintaining mobility, preventing injury, and increasing confidence in everyday life. Through Better Me Connect, Pratthanadee Foundation aims to make health education accessible while creating safe spaces where women can learn, support one another, and build meaningful relationships.
The second Better Me Connect session demonstrated that empowering women can begin with something as simple as moving together. By combining practical health knowledge with a strong sense of community, the program continues to encourage women to invest in themselves, strengthen their wellbeing, and grow together.
