More Than Dessert: Women Connect Through Better Me Connect

On 29 March 2026, Pratthanadee Foundation organized the 4th Better Me Connect session, bringing together 14 women for a hands-on workshop on No-Bake Biscoff Cheesecake Cups, led by Khun Mai Vannaying, a Pratthanadee Foundation volunteer. The session created a warm and welcoming space where women could learn a simple dessert recipe, enjoy time together, and build connection through a shared activity.

Participants responded very positively to the session, with strong results across all key areas:
- 100% said the activity gave them new skills or experiences
- 100% said it created a safe, friendly, and comfortable environment
- 100% said it helped strengthen relationships and friendships
- 100% reported overall satisfaction
- 84% said the activity was practical and applicable in daily life
Beyond dessert-making, the session also reflected the importance of women’s empowerment through safe spaces, shared learning, and supportive community. Simple activities like this can help women build confidence, try something new, and feel encouraged through connection with others. Some participants also shared that the skill could be useful not only at home, but potentially for future income generation.

The 4th Better Me Connect session showed that even a simple hands-on activity can offer more than practical skills. It can also create joy, confidence, and a stronger sense of belonging among women.
